PCR Workstations
LabGuard PCR*
workstation allows the user to maintain a clean work
area during PCR preparations. The unit has in-built UV
lights allowing to irradiate tubes, flasks and pipettes
between amplifications. UV light sterilization will
effectively destroy potentially contaminating DNA and
RNA within 30 minutes.
To Protect user from UV light, shutter &
sidewalss are made up of Polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is
a special imported material, which is UV resistant.
Also, a unique 'interlocking system' is introduced for
further protection. As the shutter is raised, the
'interlocking system' will turn off UV light to avoid UV
exposure to user.
